Sheet metal fragments -- Gilded copper embossed strip, embossed sheet with arcaded vine pattern, embossed and chased sheet and gilded copper fragments from 5 bosses. Possibly fragments of a shrine or alter cross, as reconstructed here. Discovered in an unknown location in Dumfriesshire prior to 1905. Dated to the second half of the eighth century.
